The only place to dine in Denver if you are just passing thru, live nearby, or next door. #1 for sure. I dare anyone to name a better experience, menu, venue or staff!
Arrived solo around 6:15 pm on a sunny Monday evening and sat at the bar. The place was lively, with an active dinner crowd of large groups (6+), friends and what looked like colleagues.
I ordered a Tuscan wine ($18, 9 ounces) and one of their pizzas with sausage ($17). The wine was a hit, definitely a bit upscale and just right. The pizza was par for course as well, well balanced and appropriate against expectations.
Service was good, attentive while multitasking vigorously. They had some odd black and white cartoon dog series on TV, where they were playing soccer and driving. The wine definitely helped make that more interesting than odd.
The counter tops at the bar were nice, and there was plenty of space and options for an even larger crowd. The outdoor patio was nice as well, more suitable for groups of 3 or 4.
I would recommend this place for medium-sized groups, informal business meals and friends looking for a lively environment.
Get a pizza. Just do it. Some of the best pizza in Denver. Their pasta is incredible too. Service here is unparalleled as well. The attention to detail deserves notice from all other nearby restaurants.
Cute spot for brunch. Excellent service and tasty food. The bacon was delicious and quite possibly my favorite bite of food of the day. The fried chicken was good. And of course we had to try a fancy toast. I enjoyed my aperol spritz as it was a perfect compliment to my brunch.
