    5/5 Stars

I ride my bike through the city on a daily basis, and I strongly feel like this is the mom and pop go to spot for bites and drinks in the Highlands. Here’s why:

    1. The prices are really for the quality of food you get. Some people are expecting 120 dollar tasting steak, when they’re offering it for close to 9 dollars. And the steak isn’t even bad, it’s pretty damn good.

    2. The produce comes from locally sourced farms and grocery shops

    3. They don’t claim to be a coffee shop, but you can tell that their coffee has some serious quality. And I’m Colombian, some of my family actually grows coffee beans in South American. The coffee is excellent.

Today I got a steak breakfast burrito and medium coffee for only 14 dollars. And that was AFTER my tip. How can I not rate this place 5/5 stars.

This is my favorite pizza place in town. I love their food. Everything tastes so yummy here. Other than serving tasty food, they also have great customer service. This is a family owned restaurant & everyone here is super nice & helpful. I definitely recommend getting your pizzas & sandwiches from here !!!

Upscale food and drinks, which means expensive and small portions. Nice and quiet, good atmosphere. Food was not cooked correctly, asked for one steak slightly pink and it was bloody and raw inside, second medium and it was well done. Sides were 7.00 each. Beer was 7.00 a bottle, shots were 9.00. Ice for shot on the rocks was 1.50! There was a food tax, a liquor tax, and an "employee wage fund" of 2 percent of the bill. Waiter was nice and tried to make it right. Ok place to go once for the experience, but won't go back.

On our last night in Denver we wanted to make it special by getting a good dinner for the family. We opted for steak and began our search for a place that was located in a nice area.

Let me begin by saying that the service at this restaurant was top notch. The servers made sure us and our children felt welcome and took care of us. Their children’s menu is second to none. They don’t just throw something together to keep the kids busy, you can tell they take their time making it good for them.

Our adult dishes were outstanding. Steak cooked perfectly medium. For our sides we decided on potatoes and mac. We were also recommended a great wine to pair with our steaks.

The ambience was very neatly tuned. The dim lighting with the soft colors really set the mood. They played The Cure, The Smiths, Mazzy Starr among other great artists.

At the end of our meal we felt satisfied and not stuffed, we felt happy and not just content, most of all we felt welcomed. When we do return to Denver we will definitely revisit this place. Thank you for having us.

The restaurant has some great ambiance and we had read great reviews before heading in. We showed up at 5pm on a Sunday and were one of a few guests in the restaurant at the time. The menu offers some really creative dishes that all sound really appealing. Great wine and spirit offerings from the bar as well. It’s a restaurant that has most things lined up well, but tonight executed very poorly.

The waitress was very slow to greet, to take orders and in general provide service throughout the meal. She informed us that they were out our oyster appetizers 10+ minutes after ordering, which then led to having a soup/salad course delivered prior to our app, and entree was served while we still had the appetizer and salad in front of us.

Our group of three all ordered the lamb dish and all had all our dishes very over cooked. We ordered rare and med-rare lamb, and all had med-well/well done lamb delivered which was disappointing.

I would have liked to enjoy this place. The menu and ambiance and location are all great, but tonight the front of house and kitchen staff left more to be desired in execution. With so many restaurants in Denver that offer great dining experiences to choose from, I would honestly not pay them a second visit.
