Cap City Tavern

Last night I tried out their curb-side pick-up for the first time and could not have been more pleased. Not only was the process smooth and the staff amazingly friendly, but the food was fantastic. You know how sometimes you take food home and think, "That would have been so much better at the restaurant." ? That was definitely NOT the case here. Brought home a big calzone, some amazing mozz sticks, and a tasty caesar salad. Support local and get your grub on at Cap City Tavern.

Pick up and all of the food was fantastic. Truffle mac n cheese so good!!! My children want to order from here again tomorrow. Whole family pleased with their orders. A first! ( we've given up on grub hub, they seem to slosh everything around.)

Cool place. The portobello veggie burger was good. Reasonable prices for downtown. The waitress we had she was down to earth and friendly. The bartender tho kind of seemed like she hated life but eh, id go back. Pool table could use a replacing but still 4 stars out of 5.

Now here's a little neighborhood bar and restaurant that I didn't even know existed in this part of town. It's unassuming and laid back enough for an easynight out, or it's upscale enough for a date night. Menu has a decent amount of choices and the prices are not that bad for this part of Denver. Tastes good, too. Limited parking in the rear of the restaurant, or Street/meter parking at the front.

What a fun place!
The atmosphere here is exactly what you want, great vibe that you are in the city, but not crowded or pretentious.
Great drink menu with lots of variety and local options. Definitely get the sliders!
We had one little problem with our order and it was fixed right away. Our server was really curteous and friendly.
Anyway, great place to swing through after visiting the Art Museum!
