Came for a recent Friday dinner--fun neighborhood with lots of bars & restaurants and a young, cool crowd. The drinks (Palomas) and food (amazing burger and great crispy fires) were fantastic as was the service. My only criticism is that the decor is a bit industrial-feeling and unwelcoming. Extremely accommodating for our party of 8! First time visit. Our server Austin was great! Great food ! Great service! From appetizer to entree all really good! We will be back! Thanks!
Fun Sunday Brunch! We enjoyed a mix of bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's (which were zippy) with the bacon wrapped dates (must have) before dining on the shrimp and grits, french brioche toast and chicken fried steak! All were so delish!! We loved Wally, our waiter...he was delightful and the atmosphere was charming. Highly recommend!
We recently hosted my sister's baby shower at Charcoal Bistro and I was so impressed with everything from start to finish. The events coordinator, Matt, was responsive and helpful. They put together a delicious brunch menu for our guests, the space was perfect, and the waitstaff were wonderful. Everyone commented on the beautiful decor and amazing food. We had 15 guests and I'd say everyone was impressed with the experience. I'd highly recommend the restaurant for everyday dining experiences but also for an event such as a baby shower!
This. Place. Is. Amazing! The wine selection is great! We tried things all across the board here. Fried brie, awesome! Bacon dates, awesome! Brussel sprouts, awesome! Pork schnitzel, awesome! Burger, awesome! Fish and shellfish soup, awesome! Almond crusted cod, awesome! Honestly, there's nothing that's not amazing! Finish it with an apple crumble.
Great food, visited for the first time during restaurant week. Always nice to try new things. A few food/drink items on the menu were unavailable, probably fair considering restaurant week business. Would still absolutely eat here again.
