Necio Mexican Kitchen

I have been to A LOT of Mexican restaurants and this one is in the top 5 I have had. Everything our party of 4 had was absolutely phenomenal, food and drinks.

Parking outside, easy access, very clean establishment and great service. They have vegan options that I had and everything was delicious.

I warmly recommend Necio's, if you want great food and service.

Great Food and very creative twists and classic dishes. That goes for their drinks as well! The Mezcal Old Fashioned was Fantastic!! The Family owners are very friendly and engaging. Go check this place out!

Husband and I love this neighborhood spot. We've been coming since they opened and have enjoyed all the dishes. We recently had one of their signature dishes, Molcajete, Mar&Tierra (Though I left out beef for more shrimp and chicken). I also asked for more heat as I like spicy. Blown away and quite possibly the best Mexican dish I've had. We also love the jalapeno poppers b/c they are baked not fried. Hubby has to get every single time! Their cocktails are pretty tasty as well.

I have know this place as many things over the last 20 years, bar, restaurants of various sorts. Yesterday, my wife and I found ourselves in the North side admiring and criticizing all the changes we see. We decided to stop into Necio's. We were very impressed. The changes to the interior are minimal, but bright and airy. We opted to sit out on the patio after a desire to soak as much of the sun and beautiful day as possible. We were not disappointed. The patio has plenty of room to stretch. We ordered guacamole and chicharones, nachos, and chicken wings. Each was delicious and beautiful to look at. We like to watch many of the cooking shows, and any of these dishes could have been featured. We will return to sample the dinner menu. In the meantime, find a way to Necio Latin Eatery and enjoy the flavors of the old country, with a new twist!

Had high expectations with Necio but the food wasn't phenomenal as some may describe it. Maybe it was the food I ordered or perhaps the service was what made it a bad dinner night. The service was eager and the menu was explained ,we got encouraged to try happy hour and so we did. They lacked attention to the sevice once we were seated and they took a while to take our order and at the end of dinner we waited for a while again for the check.
