I love this place. One of the best authentic Mexican places. I have everything on thr menu. And this is my go to for a fancy date place.
I love this place. In the hood, delicious and fun. So when we all went sideways with the world, I wanted to support them more than anything. But I can't figure out if they're open or place an order. I call their line and it just goes to voicemail and the voicemail inbox is full. No notice on what to do through social media either. I completely get it, in these strange times, up is down and down is up. Despite that, I really want to support local businesses, but I can't place an order. I can probably go their and place an order in-person, but I'd prefer to avoid the contact and pick-up and go, instead of order and wait. Either way, I hope this restaurant and staff are doing well. UPDATE: Called again, they picked up and I have a delicious meal ahead of me!
Excellent flavor, quality and some of the best salsa around, pretty spicy compared to most, so beware! ???? The beans and rice are phenomenal, carnitas juicy with a little crunch, green chile - delicious - and I'm sure everything on the menu is above par as well! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Denver! Can't wait until they expand ???? it can get pretty busy/crowded in there on a weekend evening so plan accordingly.
Excellent food..... everything tasted homemade! Patio was very pleasant! Does appear to get crowded though....
Arrived solo around 6:00 pm on a comfortable Wednesday evening and sat outside in a corner near some flowers and a running mini waterfall.
The place was lively with most tables full of families of around four and an overall nice vibe that didn't get much of the street noise. I was quite comfortable.
The chips and salsa were good, with some nice spice for the salsa. I ordered the chicken fajitas with double rice, no beans and flour tortillas ($17) and got them within ten minutes. The tortillas were warm (2 large ones) and the chicken and rice were above average. Really enjoyable meal all around.
The staff was very attentive and professional. Three different people checked in on me and I was referred to as sir on several occasions.
I highly recommend this place for a lower key, lower priced meal compared to many of the options near by. Families, but also solo diners (there's a bar) and couples would do fine as well.
