Taqueria La Familia

This place is amazing. The chips and salsa they bring out is fresh and delicious, it’s family owned and they are very friendly. You can see how they make everything and the amount of work that goes into it. I’ve never been disappointed with what I’ve ordered but my favorites are the veggie tacos and smothered breakfast burrito (they will do veggies instead of meat if you ask) and Chile rellenos..... then again I haven’t strayed too far from those orders :) just check it out if you like Mexican food at all!

This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in Denver. It’s a small , family owned joint with only 4 tables. The food is incredible and the portions are HUGE , while the price is very affordable. The owner and his grandsons run the place and clearly do so with love and care for the customer. I CANT WAIT to take all my family here when they come in town. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

This restaurant is excellent! My buddy and I went on a whim on a short trip in Denver and we were more than satisfied. Once we were seated, the owner presented us with several salsa options for the chips on the table. Upon hearing my friend was a vegetarian he came back with another meatless salsa option. He was excited, it was as though he wanted to share his salsa with the world. And sure enough, it was some of the best and most unique salsa we've ever had. The entrees were similarly excellent, and we left very full. The prices are more than fair, the interior holds a certain hominess, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Will definitely visit again when in Denver, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious, cost-effective, and authentic Mexican food.
