Sweet Basil

Lived up to the hype for sure. The oysters were perfect and the pork chop was juicy and had a nice presentation. Whipped feta is really unique and a nice way to start. The squid was cooked well but I wouldn't order it again. Instead, I'd get another rye old fashioned from the cocktail list. We considered the tasting menu but they didn't have enough flexibility on the main course and there wasn't much of a discount so we just ordered off of the menu instead.

I think this is still the best restaurant in Vail, we had such a fantastic time last night. The service is excellent, attentive but not intrusive allowing time to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. The food was wonderful and couldn’t be faulted. Looking forward to our next meal at Sweet Basil next week.

It is always a special night to go to Sweet Basil. They have added “The Sweet Basil Experience”. This is an amazing chefs choice dinner. The whole table does it and it is truly a wonderful dinner. We had the waiter pare wine for every one of the 5 courses. Food was great! And you get to taste so many different things and you don’t have to think. Kudos to Sweet Basil for bring this to the menu. 6 stars out of 5

This is one of the top five restaurant I have visited in my life. Service is impeccable and food is amazing. Comparable to a 5 star Michelin Restaurant. We tried the duck and the lamb and it was out of this world.

-Amazing service. Our family travels a lot and we love trying new restaurants, this has been one of the best if not the best service I’ve received in a high end restaurant. The staff is professional trained and are exceptional. Go above and beyond!
