“Every time I ski Beaver Creek or Vail I make it a point to come here. Some of the best homemade taco shells I've ever had anywhere. I try to make sure I can be there Tuesday nights for their special but I haven't been since last season so I'm not sure they're even doing it still. To wash it all down they have an excellent margarita menu.”

“Decent pricepoint (for BC) and purty good food. The spicy popcorn shrimp appetizer is very tasty and also a large portion. Great pizzas. Fine steaks. Good drink selections. The deck view looks to be awesome but I cannot vouch as we visited at night in dead of winter so we were seated inside. Only knock is the ceilings and walls are hard and smooth and coupled with large groups and music blasting the place was louder than it needed to be.”

“What an awesome new addition to Vail! Josh and Scott are working hard to make this business great. The theater is easy to get to with free parking and has an excellent variety of classic films. In addition they serve food and booze, all at an excellent price compared to other local theaters. I'll be back regularly.”

“Altitude is a hidden gem. We have been going there for years and the service is consistently great. Staff is friendly and hard working. Burgers are awesome, drinks are delicious, good beer selection and decent wines for the price. Great for families and the perfect place to unwind and have a good dinner and drinks at a reasonable price. Special thanks to Bryan for great service and being super kind to our kiddos!”

“Outstanding! The pours were generous, the food top notch, and the service outstanding. Treat yourself and try this restaurant out. We’ve eaten all over Vail and really enjoyed this experience.”

“Beautiful restaurant, really lovely. They were very nice to allow us to change tables to a quieter area since we made the reservation weeks if not months ago, and we wanted side by side seating as we were celebrating our anniversary. Everyone was welcoming upon our arrival, wished us a happy anniversary and even provided a complimentary glass of champagne. Thank you so much! A couple of notes, someone else commented in the reviews on how wonderful the bread was-we were not offered any bread or asked if we wanted to order any bread (it appears it is on the menu for a price). They brought the salad plates out before the appetizers and they put my soup bowl on top of my salad plate (the soup was not hot). My husband had to move his salad plate out of the way for his appetizer. When my soup bowl was removed, the plate which was underneath the soup bowl remained for my salad. They took my husbands silverware with the appetizer plate and did not replace it. The Caesars Salad for two was good but not spectacular as you would imagine for almost $50. The ribeye was good and was carved at our table. Our server was very nice, however was very busy with large tables and we could see was doing their best. We opted out of dessert. The server brought a handheld unit to the table to process the check and credit card so be prepared with the tip calculation because the server is waiting.”

“Red Lion is an icon of Vail. It's stayed pretty much the same for the last several decades and provide everyone including families with a friendly atmosphere. No worries if you have kids, they are welcome here. It is one of the better Apres Ski spots right in the heart of Vail Village. Frequent live music and a fun atmosphere. A small outdoor deck with 6-8 tables. Not a bad place to people watch. Make no mistake.. This is bar food. Only problem is the prices - which as you would expect in Vail are on the high end.”
