Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Perkins used to be my favorite breakfast restaurant in Colorado Springs... great pancakes, fantastic bakery and good service! Since they were closed for a few years and then reopened it has not been the same! The food is definitely not like it was and the service has gone downhill.

I ate at Perkins twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times I was immediately seated. The staff was friendly and I couldn't believe how fast I got my meals. Wow! The wait staff checked back regularly to see if I needed anything and accommodated my requests every time. The food was served on square plates and bowls, so I know I got a square meal.

Went in got seated immediately. Waitress was prompt Friendly, and very experienced. Was glad to know that we were going to have a great night. Ordered and joked. Meal was very good. Nothing over cooked. Very attentive but not too much. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our time spent at Perkins.

My fiance and I came here to enjoy a nice late night breakfast for dinner date. We were the only ones in the restaurant for customers most of the time that we were there. I ordered the Hungry Man's Combo with the variety of meats with pancake and potatoes. My fiance had a free birthday meal. Everything came out in a very timely manner and the server was so helpful and kind the entire time. The server even sang happy birthday to us even though she was the only server. We had a great, relaxing time with perfectly cooked food. Definitely a great experience, especially for Perkins. We will be coming back soon.

I was looking for comfort food for dinner and decided to go to Perkins. My mother mentioned a couple of times about how clean the place is. Our server, Clara, was a sweetheart. I ordered the Pot Roast Stroganoff and it was very good. We also had the wild berry pie with ice cream. I'll be going back soon because there are other things on the menu that I want to try
