Rooster's House Of Ramen

When they had the coconut curry with sauteed mushrooms ramen on the menu, I gladly gave 5 stars. However, remove the main reason I went there and you lose me and my family as customers. I check back occasionally to see if the most excellent of all ramens has returned, but the answer is no, to my profound sadness. Please, bring it back, and my five star review will magically reappear. I'm only one customer but this is my take. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Whoa! We picked this place haphazardly because it was nearby, but I'm so glad we did! I ordered coconut chicken curry ramen and it was delicious! The perfect amount of spiciness & overall just a very pleasant experience. The woman who waited on us was super kind & it was really quick service. Also the canned beers they had were great picks. I'm so happy we stopped by! I'm going to crave that ramen now....

Alright Buckle up.

This is a story about a Honeymoon in 2017. We decided in mid day of a chilly afternoon that we'd like to try out the Ramen Shop on Tejon Street. Little did I know the explosion of flavor that was about to happen in my mouth.

If you enjoy bird based soup and a blend of herbs and spices capable of making you cry tears of sweet sweet joy while simultaneously wishing that all food was up to the par set my the dish prepared by a gentleman with hands blessed and trained by, who I can only imagine, is the Lord himself: I cannot recommend enough the Rippin Rooster Ramen.

Imagine the best food you've ever tasted in your life. It's nothing. This Ramen is the Apex of human culinary capabilities. Authentic Ramen? Sir or Madam: stay in your chair. This Ramen does not care about your nonsense labels.

This Ramen might well be the reason that I move to this state and city, and, in the end, as close to this Ramen as possible.

Whoever is running this restaurant, I'm sorry it took 2 years to post this review. You deserve so much more than that.

I wish I could give you 95 stars in a Google Review. This might be the only review I ever write at all. But you earned it 100%.

Definitely not “Japanese”. Based on the menu, I’m guessing it’s a hipster Thai ownership (just guessing). But it was pretty good. Noodle texture is crude thus felt very honest and handmade. Broth is definitely South East Asian style but it did have real punch and flavor. Two things I suggest the chef to learn are: A) Learn to make braised chicken not stinky. That’s one of the basics of professional cooking: to make chicken not dry and not stinky. B) Learn to shred scallions long way along the fiber and not across minced chopping. If ramen, allow people to grab all items with chopsticks. Good place tho. Quantity is small but feels healthier that way. Will come back.

Every time I’ve been here I’ve received great service and food. The team here is one of the best in town. I’ve taken countless people here and they have all loved it too. I love how quick they are. Only bad thing about this place is that it’s closed on Mondays.
