Tokyo Joe's - CS (Academy)

A shout out to Mike who recommended the Salmon with Red Dragon and green onions. I got mine with snap peas, broccoli, mushrooms, and carrots. I spent the first 34 years of my life living in Pueblo and that was the first time in Colorado Springs that got anywhere near the heat I like. I'll be back for that fire! Thanks Mike!

The menu pricing is confusing for first timers, and not as straight forward as other "build your bowl" type places. The bathroom and tables were not as clean as I'd like, and the people who worked here didn't seem to give a single care about my experience as the customer.

Luckily for me and you, most of the food kicks butt, and is a reasonable price. You can normally expect leftovers, and being able to 100% customize a meal is never an overlooked thing for someone like me who has a pretty strict diet. Chairs were comfy and the atmosphere was great. After the initial interacting with the employees and the menu, my experience quickly became better.

I'm a big fan of this sort of Americanized Japanese food. It tastes great and I really like the atmosphere. It's also fast and very reasonably priced. One of my favorite places to eat off Academy.
