What a wonderful experience. We tried a few items and all were exceptional! Cal served us and made our experience fun and memorable. We are returning tonite!
Food was good but overpriced. They were out of several items that we tried to order (Paloma, carnitas, etc.).
The service was fine. When we asked to split the check the waitress was unhelpful.
First time since they opened. The food came hot and quick . Margaritas were very good and potent, we like that. I especially enjoyed the salmon dish practically licked the plate. I am very happy about vegetarian dishes. Like cauliflower uses. Three of us went on a Tues. dinner hour and is was not too busy. I see this as being a very cool sports bar and restaurant. The only con for me is the noise factor.. resturant is designed in wood and metal, very light and sleek but if that restaurant was full to capacity I am pretty sure it would be hard to hear. Going back to try the cauliflower steak and more Margaritas!!
I ordered take out today (during first Friday) and got it super quick(15 minutes). I had salmon! The salmon was great but my cauliflower rice/mash thing was cold. I had no way to heat it up so ate it anyway and it tasted alright being cold. The avocado spread was good too. The dish really works together! I had chips and salsa on the side. Chips were fresh and the salsa had just enough heat! I cant wait to try it again! I gave 3 stars because of the cold food. That was a huge bummer! I do have to say that I literally ate right outside the door as I had a booth at first Friday waited no more than two minutes to start eating my food.
I really enjoyed my experience at La Raza. They have a beautiful panting when you enter and a cool chandelier. My husband got the Carne Asada and I got the Salmon entree. Both were very delicious and had great sauces!! We also got the Shrimp A La Diabla, which was spicy and really good with tortilla chips. I recommend the restaurant!
