Wow, this pizza is good! We were in the area and had a hankering for pizza. This is easily some of the best pizza I’ve had in Colorado and I make a habit of trying a lot. They had some cool options for beer too. The only issue I have is the parking situation. It was tough to find a spot in the area and then we had a bit of a walk to get here. The place was pretty busy when we were there and it took about 30 min for the pizza to be ready. I would absolutely come back for more if I am in the area!
The pizza was fairly good. I got two slices, one pepperoni and the other was cheese. The pepperoni was better than the cheese. The only issue there was that there were some bugs inside flying around.
Overview: This is the freshest pizza in Colorado. Stop by to see for yourself how flavorful a simple cherry tomato can be.
Items ordered: Goddess Pizza & BBQ Chicken slice.
Cleanliness: 4 - great but not spotless.
Service: 4 - on point but not outstanding. too many reassurance interruptions like "how is it so far?"; some kid broke their wood patio fence by accident and the employee handled it very kindly.
Freshness: 5 - a rare gem using exceptionally fresh ingredients.
Flavors: 5 - great combinations and unique pizza builds. the mushrooms and tomatoes are bursting with flavor
Portion Size: 5 - i could handle a medium by myself.
Location: 5 right downtown and good parking options around the block.
Price: 3 - it's pricey for a pizza. but I am happy to fund the local ingredient sourcing.
Food Quality: 5
Drink selection: 4 - local brew options compliment pizza nicely.
Atmosphere: 3 - rustic wood felt a little dated but this fits the glenwood springs theme.
Total: 43/50 Points
Restaurant Notes
-We can't wait to come back!
I definitely enjoyed the gluten free pizzas I ordered for me and my wife. We got the goddess and plain pepperoni. The gluten free pizzas are a small 10" pizza. We each ate half. Both of us were impressed with the quality of the crust and the flavor of the goddess pizza. Pickup was quick since I ordered over the phone ahead of time. The only downside was the price. It was $40 for two very small pizzas, which I think is a bit too high, but at least the quality was there to back up the high price.
