We went there and order the 5 piece with fries but since we were two, we were still hungry, then we tried to order again and they said they were closed. Okay, I understand that they closes at 10 but they could have let us know when we order the first time that they were closing, you know. The fries were cold and not crunchy at all. The chicken was good. But then we tried to refill our soda but they took something off and it was splashing everywhere (photo)
Great value for good food. I claim it is just a step above Raising Cane's. Service is decent too.
Hands down this is the best chicken sandwich in town. I’ve eaten here 10+ times and have never had a poor experience. Nashville hot is my favorite.
We have been to Comet Chicken three times, returned because we have had great experiences before. Unfortunately, this latest experience was really lackluster. Four main problems. We had two sandwiches, both were lacking in the amount of chicken in them, mostly breading and not covering much of the bun. One sandwich had a massive thick slice of jalapeno (~1/4" thick), to large to be enjoyable. The blue cheese dressing for the side salad was watery, and barely any blue cheese. And the signature Comet Sandwich was really just not tasty, and no noticeable avocado or seasoning. Overall it was really just a poor experience. Hopefully, they will return to former quality, but unsure if we will return.
