We had the most delightful time and meal at Bluecorn. Our friend, who lives in Montrose had recommended that we have lunch at Bluecorn. We ordered breakfasts and I had the avocado toast with a poached egg. It was simply delicious. The egg was velvety and the seasoning on the avocado spread was wonderful. The bread was a seeded rye that tasted amazing. All of our party enjoyed their meals just as much. Would highly recommend.

I had no idea there was a cafe inside Bluecorn until I looked up lunch spots on Yelp. The atmosphere is awesome, I love it! I was also so happy to see how many GF options they had including pastries. The menu isn’t huge, mostly sandwiches. I had the chicken pesto panini on GF & I was pleasantly surprised that it was strips of chicken breast & not lunch meat. The GF bread was good too, not too dense & the bread to filling ratio was perfect. There was also a GF tahini chocolate brownie & it was delicious! The drink I had was sooo good too. I think it was called Green Goodness-jalapeño infused Tequila, cucumber, lime, super refreshing.

Had a late breakfast at Blue Corn Cafe and Mercantile today. It’s easy to see why they get terrific reviews. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwich with bacon, ham or avocado, egg on a
brioche bun with greens. Delicious! Also enjoyed a latte and cold brew. The only thing better than the food was the staff making things happen. They could not be more pleasant and focused on making our visit the best. Grab Amanda as she moves from the back of the house occasionally to checkout what’s going on in the dining room. And don’t forget to peruse the merchandise for sale section. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit today and will stop again on our way out of town.

Unassuming building, hosting an above average experience! The avocado toast was delicious on home made bread, and arranged as artfully as you would find in destination cosmopolitan cities.

The Americano coffee with the poppyseed muffin was also amazing! The beans were roasted properly, not burned, coffee flavor smooth not bitter. A little less water, European’s would feel at home.

Well done, thank you to the pleasant staff!

Part coffee shop and cafe, part artisan candle makers. It is relaxing to watch the workers build up candles, behind the glass. Weird like a relaxing therapeutic zoo. Candles are high quality, they facility is clean, coffee good and so is the food.
