Great Mexican restaurant in Ouray. They were slightly busy during lunch, but the staff were incredibly kind and attentive! Very happy with my experience here.

The food is served in large portions for the price, and the chips and salsa are excellent.

We had a wonderful meal at this hidden gem while vacationing in Ouray. Tired of the usual bar/brew fare, we were looking for something different and were shocked to find Mi Mexico. Service was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal. Even though we arrived around 3:30, we were able to order from the reduced price lunch menu. Servings were huge, and the food appeared to be fresh and flavorful. The spice level could have been higher for me, but my flavor profile is used to very spicy foods. I highly recommend seeking out this wonderful and different restaurant.

Very kind staff. Explained things on the menu in great detail and didn't seem like they were annoyed with any questions or concerns. We accidentally spilled a cup of water and they were so kind about the situation. Also MASSIVE portions. We were so surprised by how much food they gave us. Definitely worth the bill and very delicious

My family and I were seated quickly at a table on the roof; the views were incredible. The service was friendly and the portions were huge.

I ordered the molcajete and it was amazing! I’m a big guy with a bigger appetite and y family of four will be sharing the leftovers from this for lunch today. The flavor was fantastic and I could not recommend it more.

I’m only giving this a four-star rating because everyone else was so-so about their food. My wife actually needed salt with hers, which I don’t think I’ve seen at a Mexican restaurant before. Again, the portions were great, just not full of flavor.

You should eat here. It’s worth the experience, but know that it’s great, not amazing.
