The Soup Pot

The soups are usually good but every now and then things change. Don’t get me started on their hours of business. I was there today waiting from 11-11:30. I never saw an employee inside. Had to leave. This surely isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this.

Delicious, nutritious, allergen sensitive, and mother-earth mindful. Served up with a genuine smile and generosity in condiments! I wish this place were closer to home! (Or do I perhaps wish my home were closer to this place?!) Thank you to the gals who fed me a bowl of half tomato bisque/ half split pea sausage, a loaf of cheddar jalapeno bread, and DON'T cook with soybean oil!

Soup Pot was fast, super tasty, and the staff was very welcoming. We sampled all the soups and they were all good. Don't skip the meatball sub!

Traveling through CO, I was so thrilled to find a soup restaurant! I can't eat gluten, and having tons of options to choose from (all the soups were gluten-free) at a restaurant was an experience I hadn't had in a while. It was really hard to decide -- everything looked and sounded amazing, and they offer samples. I had the loaded baked potato + a scoop of pork green chili, and it was an amazing lunch. Hope to make it back some day!!!

Service was a bit slow with just one person behind the counter for lunch. Drink options are fairly limited. The bathroom had no way to dry hands and was a bit dirty.

The soup here IS amazing, so if you really want a great soup you can find it here. Just don't expect a whole lot else. I got a soup and grilled cheese and devoured the delicious soup but didn't even finish the grilled cheese because I was disappointed with it.

Staff is very friendly and the place has a small-town charm to it.
