“We were on our way back to Denver from skiing, stuck in traffic and starving. Thankfully we found High Country BBQ! Be sure to pay attention because it’s easy to miss, but well worth the stop. Jan was welcoming and friendly and the food was amazing! We’ll definitely be stopping by when we pass through again.”

“I'm here to review the bakery side of things .. Our family was on vacation in Fairplay from Texas and during our trip, two of our family members celebrated birthdays. Of course we had to have a little party, and cake was a must! We contacted KB's Kakery before our trip and placed an order for a plain, grey two-tiered cake .. and it was perfect! (we added the Baby Yodas ourselves). The cake was fresh and moist. The icing was light and fluffy and perfectly sweetened! Our boys felt so special and we all thoroughly enjoyed the dessert!”

“Last week we had a life Celebration for one of the builders that helped build this restaurant/bar. Me and a good friend traveled from Minneapolis Minnesota to see this place and man oh man it is a gem! The food, drinks, service and pricing was top notch! Keep of the good work! “This place was a pleasant surprise and delicious! We were passing through the town and saw the great reviews which didn’t disappoint. We got a pizza which was fresh, cooked perfectly, and had noticeably quality ingredients. If you’re passing through or even just near the area it’s definitely worth the stop. Would love to come back to try one of their pasta or hoagie options!”

“The Yum Bus is the best bus ever! It’s worth the hype. Ordered the pulled pork as well as the gyro and both sandwiches were perfect. Fresh, well-prepared, stuffed with fine ingredients, and delicious. Really tasty pickles too! Tom is the best and I look forward to trying more of the menu soon! For those of you fellow work-from-home folks in the area, visiting here for lunch is also a great way to break up the day. 5 stars all the way.”

“Delicious and authentic Mexican food. Stopped by on a recommendation from someone else and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be adding this to my list of lunch options when visiting the Kings Valley area. The owner was very kind and talkative. If I could rate 6/5 I would. Can’t wait to eat here again!”

“If had a soft serve ice cream cone and unfortunately it was a small serving for the price. I don't know if I would recommend it. People were super friendly and nice however. So if you're looking for a value you'll go somewhere else but if you're looking for great people this is your place.”

“So the food is good and they're the best Chinese in the area in my honest opinion, but one of the ladies especially (and some of the others rarely) often seems rude. It's like she really really doesn't want to be there. I think she may be the owner, but not sure. Someone told me she gets paid in tips so I could be wrong. Overall one of the least welcoming restaurants in Bailey but some of the better food. I get take out from here maybe every other week and strongly suggest it but I hope they do something to help their staff be happier or hire someone with a hospitality background to work the desk. I'd happily give them five stars and frequent them more often for dining in (and tip more). I tip minimum or not at all for bad service and good food (since I doubt the cops see any of that). “My husband, myself and our son went there for lunch today 11/6/21. That place is THE BEST BBQ I've ever had! We enjoyed it tremendously! Tim, the owner was so kind and is an amazing pit-master. We had pulled pork, brisket sandwiches and a 1/2 chicken, a sausage link and a chicken leg, potato salad and baked beans! I HIGHLY recommend this place.”

“Delicious, nutritious, allergen sensitive, and mother-earth mindful. Served up with a genuine smile and generosity in condiments! I wish this place were closer to home! (Or do I perhaps wish my home were closer to this place?!) Thank you to the gals who fed me a bowl of half tomato bisque/ half split pea sausage, a loaf of cheddar jalapeno bread, and DON'T cook with soybean oil!”
