Another great find in the mountains. Great food. Gotta try them even after tourist season it is a destination drive. I highly recommend them. Cold day hot soup gourmet sandwich or dinner one time it was a beef roast that was incredible another time was a lamb roast land it was awesome. Just great food small menu done right. You won't be disappointed.

Good food, first time. People were pulling off the highway left and right to stop here and eat. We got there around noon and the burgers were fresh, bar style fries (fresh cut with skins on), and pickle's that seem super fresh (jared last summer). No photos, but now I have a real good reason to go back.

This restaurant has wonderful service and delightful meals. One of the best spot ever. The food arrived rapidly and the prices were fair. Highly recommended.

I went in for some hot soup after a hike up the mile trail. The Shaggy Sheep is great for a bite to eat... very informal, friendly place. Service was great and the soup and sandwiches hit the spot

The food is delicious and the staff friendly. The decor is mountain chic. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. There are slight changes in the menu for dinner which begins at 4pm. Included in the experience are opportunities to shop for handmade hats and scarves and homemade jams. A pristine and professional restaurant is a rare find in the high altitudes of the rural Colorado Rockies. It's worth the drive. Closed Monday through Wednesday.
