“Excellent higher end steakhouse in Breckenridge. We made reservations the day before, were seated promptly and met with very good service. The children's menu was limited but we expected that and our kids love spaghetti any way. Appetizers and drinks were very good. We had the calamari and it was light and crispy. We also ordered the Elk chop special which was cooked exactly as requested. This is a higher end restaurant but was accommodating for our children and no special dress code required. We will be back.”

“Salt Creek Steakhouse was absolutely amazing! I chose "The Mountain" as my meal, and it was delicious and well prepared. Our server, Sean, was excellent. He was attentive and there when we needed him, but did not hover. The owner's love and care of his restaurant could be seen through his interactions with the staff and guests. “We came for happy hour- the combination of 2-for-1 martinis and 2-for-1 apps (plus $2 off drafts) was amazing! Initially came with dinner plans but we went family style and were beyond satisfied. I’d recommend especially, the Brussels Sprouts and the Diver Scallop- though we had every other appetizer and we’re very happy. Ambience was wonderful, and our server, Kayla took exceptional care of us.”

We came for the 1st time last year for our 11 yr anniversary and returned yesterday:) The donuts are always fresh- and the burritos are amazing!!! Always fresh and warm! The place is smaller and usually pretty busy- all the characteristics you would expect of a popular place:) They do not take cards- but as a business owner I totally understand why- ITS EXPENSIVE!! “Still working out the kinks I think. Food was good but the staff was clearly frazzled and the table layout is disastrous. Waitress took an inordinate about of time to tend our table. When we asked about the delay, the host gave the excuse of “its a lot of stairs up to this level”. So the three level restaurant is not working well for servers. When she arrived we ordered drinks and food all at once rather than risk another long wait. When she delivered the drinks, she warned us that the sushi bar was really backed up so we should expect a delay in food delivery. That’s a sign that the seats in the restaurant over stretch the capabilities of the food prep. And speaking of tables, we were four adults seated at a high top table meant for two people. I spent the entire evening leaning against the wall trying to make more room. And when the food did arrive, we had to play the slot game with the plates to get it all to work. I held my drink all evening. That all being said, it was inexplicably packed. Good food in a very uncomfortable setting. Will not be returning.”

“My wife and I came out to visit Colorado the other week. It was her first time to CO. We we’re bouncing around the state to different cities and on our last night we went here to the Twist for dinner. Twist was a great experience all around, the wait for our table was quick, the vibe in the restaurant was awesome. The service was outstanding. It was so personal and professional the whole time you felt like you were friends with the staff. Then there was the food. It didn’t take long to receive our meal and just by looking at it you could tell it was quality at its finest. My plate was completely polished off, it almost felt like it was a dinner and dessert at the same time it was that good. I also ordered an Old Fashion from the bartender and it was the best I’ve had in a while. So yes go to The Twist and experience it yourself, you will not be sorry. Our experience was fantastic and I was so happy about it I had to tell them in person and shake their hands. Anytime I’m in Breckenridge I will be dinning at The Twist no doubt. Long review but I could keep on ranting about how great it was in all aspects. Great food, great staff, great vibe, great drinks, great time.”

“Nice selection of local brews. Patio is dog friendly and has a fire pit for colder evenings. I loved the 585 burger. Reminded me of when Fat Burger was not a chain and was good (early 90s). My wife got the Fun Guy Burger and she thought there was "way too much cheese" and couldn't taste the rest of the ingredients. She loved the 585 burger though.”

“Where do I start? This place is simply amazing, the staff and management are beyond accommodating to their customers. I brought a group of 10 veterans in there on a Sunday evening and this place was so great to us. I have been to many restaurants throughout Breckenridge during these events that we conduct and Hearthstone was by far the best!! The waitress Taylor, was so attentive and so great to work with that she definitely needs a shout out in this review. The manager also needs a shout out in this review as she took care of my group and was very appreciate of our service. So, thank you again so much for the hospitality and the great service that you provided us! Great customer service is very hard to come by nowadays and you guys showed me that it still exists. I definitely will be coming back again with our group but in the meantime everyone who is reading this review please know that this place is way above five stars.”

“We got 2 pizzas for take out and had a drink while we waited. The place was full of a good mix of locals and tourists, always a good sign in my opinion. The pizzas took about 15 -20 min, perfect timing. Service was great. Pizzas were very good. It was a bit pricey but I expect no more so than other pizza joints in Breck. “I've had tacos all over California and Mexico and these are among the best I've had. They are now tied for the best tacos in Colorado. The burritos are great also. Everything is made fresh, even the chips. The salsas were the great as well. I'm so happy that Crepes a la Cart were packed so we tried it. This is the best food after a day on the slopes!!! Charlie, one of the owners that was working was really nice too. Cannot day enough about this place. Come support these guys.”
