When we want to feel happy ???? we go to Le Pain Quotidien New Canaan downtown in the center of town on Elm ???? Street. It's relaxing ???? and casual with a European attitude. Their Interior design rocks the house. Superb menu with takeout ???? both in house and online at their international website. Le Pain Quotidien is an international bistro with over 200 locations worldwide. Fantastic customer service both on the phone and online, the restaurant has outstanding service with friendly waitresses available when you need them. Homemade bread and Belgian chocolates at the front door as well as at your table, you'll love ❤️ the bakery! We had toasted ham with Gruyere cheese on handmade croissants with Spring pea hummus Tartines that's absolutely delicious ????. Fabulous French coffee served in individual coffee pots is refilled frequently. Heathy options available, order your favorites online and in store. No reservations necessary in an upscale casual atmosphere, you'll love ❤️ our favorite restaurant. Le Pain Quotidien offers classes in bread ???? baking, pretzel ???? making, pizza ???? making, muffin making and more!

Pleasant environment with very high ceilings and furniture in naturals. A great spot for a morning or mid-day pit-stop. Their coffees are an *ah* experience as are the cups which are only manageable using both hands. Pastries are fresh with a touch of Paris in their selection. If you're a health nut, LPQ has just what you'd desire at noonish. Salads and tartines are exceptionally good. In fact, I've never had more tasty smoked salmon. Eat it slowly to maximize its impact on your palette. Service is slower than I'm used to but it's worth the wait
A swell break from shopping. Who said, "Try it, you'll like it"? Whoever was right.

Tasty food. Small portions. Random service. Exactly what we expected.
