Located within walking distance of New York and downtown New Canaan, it’s a fabulous French restaurant in a country inn overlooking the most beautiful property. Relax on the front porch while you listen to the peaceful sounds of the country as your chef prepares a delicious meal. Gourmet seasonally inspired food served in a relaxing historic inn is a culinary treat as interpreted by executive Chef Francois Kwaku-Dongo formerly of Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in West Hollywood and Chicago. Using only fresh locally grown ingredients, he creates custom made dishes that delight the soul. The Roger Sherman Inn and restaurant will exceed your expectations with impeccable service and extraordinary food served in an impressive environment. Custom catering for special events including weddings are a specialty. Attended wedding there. Food Service and Decor were great. Rooms were neat and clean. Staff was polite and cooperative. Will definately stay again.
