Lucas Local Oyster Bar

I hesitate to give them the accolades they deserve because i don't want them to be so busy that I can't get in, but I can't help myself.
My first bite of the scallops in mushroom risotto was simply amazing. The linguini with clams is not clam sauce swimming in butter with a mess of chopped clams, this was lightly dressed and has whole little neck clams that are as sweet as sugar, fantastic. The lamb burger was juicy and flavorful, loved it. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. A local gem!! Bar has special drinks based on season made with small batch spirits. Raw bar with local clams and oysters. I had the house burger with cheddar, house made bacon jam and house made pickles....outstanding!! My wife had the bison short rib special... mouth watering!!! Cozy and romantic, can get loud but still a great place. The staff is helpful, polite and goes the extra step to be sure you are fully satisfied. I highly recommend this place, one of my faves!

Great food great service..driving home from down south and ran into the 530 rush. What a lucky break to take. Oysters are super fresh and clean, fish was prepared perfectly. Chef Brett is very creative and has it together for the dinner rush. Great place and well worth the stop.

Fresh...Delicious. One of our new favorite go-tos. We always have a wonderful meal and the staff is very friendly. Must Haves - raw bar, RI clam chowder, and octopus appetizer. Fish specials are always great!

This place was amazing! We kept ordering food because everything looked so good! The amount of flavor in the fried calamari was incredible but it should have been a little crispier in my opinion. I got the linguine with clams and it was the perfect amount of pasta, not too much but just enough. My friend got the mushroom special on toasted bread and the butternut squash pizza. Our server (I think her name was Christina) was super nice and knowledgable when we asked questions about the menu.
