(January 13, 2019, 7:30 am)Every time I am here for a meal it feels like a party is going on. Not a raucous one, but a happy one. The food is delicious, the ambience is cozy, the staff couldn't be nicer and the prices are reasonable. Oh, and the local Newtown crowd is always great to hang out with!

(October 6, 2018, 1:18 am)My family and I ate at My Place in Newtown CT this evening for dinner and we had a great experience. Bringing a 4 year old and a 1 year old out to a restaurant is terrifying, but our experience was so great I wanted to give them a great review and recommend them to everyone, especially families with small kids. All the kids in the dining room were given raw dough to shape and decorate, it was then baked and brought back out for them to enjoy! What a great activity! My kids loved it. The wait staff was very friendly and kind. The food was great, some of the best calamari I’ve had. We will definitely be back again. Thank you My Place!
