“Went here and loved it. The restaurant is an down to earth spot tucked away in Canton. I had bun thit nuong and it was very tasty. Loved the house fish sauce. For dessert we shared the "banana dumplings" with vanilla ice cream, it was a delicious sticky rice with banana and red bean filling that was so delicious that it reminded me of my Vietnamese auntie's sticky rice desserts when I was a little kid. The staff were also excellent. We had some picky eaters with allergies in the group but the staff was able to accommodate for them on request with no problems. Definitely will returning here again as it is the best Vietnamese I've found yet in the Connecticut area.”

“What great, fresh bagels from a lovely family bakery. We attended the grand opening, wow! The excitement of the customers to have this adorable, family owned bagel cafe was palpable. Who would have expected lines to start forming hours before the opening time? The bagels and baked goods were worth waiting for, and the owners and staff worked very hard and greeted everyone warmly and professionally, despite the challenge of serving such a big crowd. “This is a nice, big Panera. It's often very busy, so the staff is sometimes a bit overworked. The staff is friendly, and as quick as they can be. The food is good quality, fresh, and very tasty. Well it's like shopping in a bottle: one way in, one way out. The Elders of Canton have so decreed that there shall be no back route into or out of The Shoppes. So getting in and out can be a pain anytime many other people get the bright idea to shop at the same time you do. Deal breaker? I avoid it like the plague during the entire Christmas season, and weekends surrounding other holidays can be touch-and-go. Choose wisely. And enjoy The Shoppes!”
