El Pollo Guapo

I like it here. Fresh tasting , feels healthy, and super delicious. Can be a line at lunch but it moves quick. I recommend the Buff Chix, but I ask for hot chicken instead of cold. Plantains are amazing.

El Pollo Guapo is a must-visit. The menu is a pleasant smack upside the head of flavor. Eating just one rice bowl will take you to the top of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, immediately achieving peak contentment and personal fulfillment. Even the included rice, a throwaway component at lesser places, is compelling enough to stand alone as its own dish if they wanted. The draft beer selection is on point as well. Stop reading this and go!

Overall, quite a delicious chicken place. While a bit pricey, the food is very good and highly flavorful. If they could find a way to cut cost without cutting quality then I'd probably eat here very frequently. I simply can't afford $12-15 a day on lunch.

I finally had the opportunity to stop by El Pollo Guapo a few weeks ago and have "forgotten" my lunch a few times since. I have tried the rice bowl and rotisserie chicken. Although everything is delicious, I prefer the rotisserie chicken with rice and plantains. Great flavors all around. Top the meal off with garlic-lime sauce on the side. As long as the quality of the food and service stays the same, I will keep coming back. Great addition to Front Street.

Awesome. I thought the bowls were a little pricey at first, but they are very filling. Extremely high-quality everything. Even though prepared to order, I did not have to wait long at all. The chips are unique- very thick and lime/salty. I will be going here again for sure, perfect take-out.
