The Capital Grille

Not every item came out of the kitchen as ordered so keep an eye on that -- it and the pumpkin spice candle assaulting my senses as I entered are the only reasons I knocked my rating down a star. Everything was delicious, regardless. The cocktails were perfectly made. Steak, crab cakes, salads. Can't go wrong. Don't expect it to be cheap, but the service and quality are up to par with the price.

What an amazing and wonderful experience!!!! Be warned, it is a on the pricey side! So worth every dollar though! The steak was so flavorful and delicious, the lobster crab cakes were more lobster and crab than cake. The crab on top of the steak wasn't held back, but piled on! Lobster Mac and cheese so creamy and big pieces of lobster! I have never had a better glass of wine or better dessert! Don't walk....drive there! The valet is fantastic as well! Very speedy and helpful!

This was my first time at a Capital Grille and I was highly impressed. Not only was the food delicious, the service was spectacular. Talia, our waitress, was extremely attentive and helpful. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the mashed potato side dish we ordered as particularly good. They even gave me a coffee mug and coffee to take home in honor of Father's Day.

We had dinner at the Capital Grille on Thursday night and it was terrific! Our server Martha was kind, knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. The kitchen was also wonderful, specially making an appetizer that my partner loves. Finally the Management is second to none. When a steak was overdone--can happen anywhere--David, the Manager, assisted in an extraordinary way. He was not defensive at all, viewed the steak, agreed, and while we did not expect a replacement, he cheerfully made good on it plus some. My salmon was superb but i have to say that the manner in which we were treated was phenomenal. The kindness and attention made the evening a "WOW." As Martha said, you don't expect nice/good at Capital Grille. You expect more and they delivered. We will return and tell our friends. Absolutely a 5 star place! Our server, Kassia was fantastic. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great also. I had the 14oz New York and my companion had the Tuna. Both were cooked to perfection. We also had the mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. For desert we had the chocolate cake with home made ice cream. They have a good wine list, and a good selection of wines by the glass and cocktails. This is definitely a place to go for special occasions, or to just enjoy a great dining experience!
