“I was driving down the road with my son and decided to stop by here since we were getting hungry. We're glad we stopped here because the food was great and very affordable. There are a couple of tables inside for dining but it seems to be mostly a take out or dining outdoors establishment. They have a few picnic tables for dining outdoors which is what we did because it was a beautiful day. The hot dogs are from a local maker which has been around for almost a century so you know they're good. The sauerkraut was great and they're very generous with the condiments and french fries as well. I'll definitely be back and I reccomend that you stop in as well.”

“The food was good, although I've had better prices, variety, and taste while visiting some of my favorite buffets. The waiting staff were a little more no-nonsense and almost curt than I would expect from a nice place like this. I noticed a certain lack of finesse as well, with dripping water pitchers being passed over customers, food stains on white sleeves, setting food down a little unnecessarily fast. Granted, it was peak time and the place was packed, but I expected more from a place that came so highly recommended.”

“Hot-and-Ready done right! Quick and polite service (at this location), good price, palatable pizza. It makes one wonder, how did Little Caesars get fast food pizza so right, when McDonald's failed so miserably? While Little Caesars does not make a great pizza, it does make a good pizza (far better than McDonald's had). And it is Hot-and-Ready (usually) on demand.”

“I randomly walked into this restaurant for a pepperoni slice. They don’t sell slices so I settled with a small pie. it was so good that I drove back to New Britain from Waterbury just to get a larger pie! Seriously delicious. A little salty, but delicious! “Very nice small batch full fat ice cream with all sorts of mixed up flavors with New Britain references. Frisbees is on the original site of the New Britain Guida's Dairy Store with it's red leather and chrome interior. Some of us still wish that the original building (which was in incredibly good shape) would have been restored, instead of being torn down and replaced. Frisbees is locally themed, complete with Avery's sodas. It's pricey, but it's a worthy splurge.”
