“AMAZING FOOD! The FXF Steak and Fries were delicious! The NY Strip was cooked perfectly and was juicy and so tender that you could cut it with a fork. The Forge Fries were the best ever! Never tasted anything like them before! Karrigan’s Biscuits were so good, we ordered a second plate of them! Everything we had was so good! “Bristol's newest Starbucks location on Route 6 and Camp Street is by far my favorite Starbucks in town. Recently just opened in January, the facility is absolutely beautiful inside. I've been coming here a couple times a week this past month to work on my online Master's degree course. I always order my typical coffee or green tea, but today was particularly special when the manager called me over by my name (I didn't even know she knew my name) and asked what a drink off the menu was that I always wanted to try but didn't want to risk buying and not liking. She complimented me with a complimentary pink drink to try, and now I'm hooked! Now I have a new favorite. Talk about amazing customer service that is personable and friendly. If you're a student like me, you can come here and absolutely get your work done, as there are plentiful outlets everywhere, and abundant seating. All the workers are friendly and amazing. I will continue to come here, even during my off-time from school. Oh, and for the upcoming summer season, they have a beautiful outdoor seating area to enjoy. Thank you again to the girls for all their hard work, as I do notice while sitting here writing my essays that they are always hustling to tailor your drinks to perfection. Great job and thank you!!”

“The Bean @226 is absolutely the place that you want to be. Everything about this coffee shop puts a smile on my face. Back when we were house hunting in 2018, we knew that we wanted to live in Windsor, CT because of the beauty in the center of town, a core part of which was the quintessential downtown coffee shop that feels like home-away from home. I'm happy to say that I live in Windsor and go to The Bean @226 at least once a week to get my coffee fix and to just absorb the culture of this small and diverse town. The owner always has a smile, good energy, and kind words for all guests. And you know that the vibe is right because there's a water dish outside for dogs and benches for anyone to relax and socialize under the shade on a wide sidewalk. When you stop in, yourself whatever coffee or tea makes you happy, buy yourself a crystal, and get a card to send to your mom. Just enjoy your day by taking 20 minutes at The Bean @226. A suggestion: Ask for a “Fluffy." It's a cold puffed espresso drink. I like one pump of lavender and two pumps of vanilla. Enjoy.”

“Stopped here for breakfast since we were too late on getting breakfast at our hotel, and ordered the Mike’s Sandwich (a bacon egg and cheese with cream cheese) and guacamole toast. The bread was very fresh, and the Mike’s sandwich wasn’t bad - the cream cheese was definitely an interesting touch. I had the guacamole toast and was pretty disappointed with how plain it was. I should’ve looked harder when I ordered, but I assumed it would come with a topping of some sort that would give it some flavor, even salt and pepper would’ve been acceptable. It was literally the plainest guacamole I’ve ever had and ended up adding my own salt and pepper to be able to get through it. I did like the vibe of the place, and my boyfriend liked his coffee, but we felt the place was average.”

“Love this store! I just wish they sold gas! The two ladies that are usually working during the day know my little family pretty well (from going in there all the time!). They are always kind, and ask about "what's new" and that type of thing. They remind me to use my coupons if I forget, and are very friendly! I have gone in when there is one of the other gentlemen working, and they aren't as nice as the women but certainly aren't rude; they are just doing their job.
