Everyone told me to eat here; they love it. The food is good; agreed on the food. First impression though...ehhh. The mural outside is beautiful along with the inside wall but the rest of the interior was not appetizing. Our menu had guacamole stains and a piece of meat stuck on a page; I actually didn't want to touch it. The check holder was disgusting(pictured below.) Ceviche was plentiful, the tacos were too and the drinks were not watered down. Would I come back, no. If I'm obligated to meet friends for Happy Hour, yes.

This place is the best restaurant to celebrate a birthday in the New Haven area! They’ll bring you surprises and sing and it’s very fun. The menu is also extensive and the place serves well prepared Mexican food. The fish burrito was perfect. They also have Mexican beer on tap and imports and they can make michelatas to order. The margaritas seem very popular. Overall a very fun place to eat and drink.

If your looking for authentic Mexican food you have to try this place... Well deserving of five stars There times when you find hidden gems when your not even treasure hunting !

What is the most annoying thing when ordering nachos ?

Having to eat the nachos so quick because you do not want to chips to get soggy that they are so mushy and they lose their flavor. These nacho chips were unbelievable as they withheld all the toppings and continue their distinct crunchiness during the meal. The same was for the tostadas!

All fresh ingredients , from the guacamole , beef , salsa and pork.

Wonderful atmosphere, really festive, went with friends twice, drinks are pretty good. I normally have wine but my friends say the margaritas are good. The food is good also. Try their steak nachos. Lots of guacamole in it also which is good. Ample paid parking to the left of the storefront and it's pretty cheap for a couple hours to dine or drink. The wait for drinks and food is a tad longer than I like but I get that they are busy at times. I would recommend
