Food: very good overall, and there's great complimentary garlic bread to start. The one thing we didn't love was the chicory salad. Don't forget to ask about the desserts -- the souffle was incredible.
Drinks: a strong wine list and a relatively bare-bones (but good) cocktail menu.
Atmosphere: light, green, and pleasant. Windows face onto a highway and an IKEA but there's not much you can do about that.
Overall we had a really good time here, and they're still in soft opening mode so it was not crowded at all. The bill came out to $40 each (including cocktail and dessert), which was a pleasant surprise and stacks up very well against what you'll pay for a date night downtown or in East Rock.
I will be back!
