“What an awesome new addition to the Savin Rock community! We visited on a Wednesday night and they were slammed, which is awesome to see! Loved the ambiance and thought they had a great variety on the menu. Started off with the chili lime wings, which had plenty of meat on their bones, and the fried calamari, which came with an incredible lemon aioli. My fiancé loved his cocktail and fish tacos, and I ordered the ricotta gnocchi. I actually don’t order gnocchi myself too often, but with this one being homemade ricotta gnocchi, I went for it. I’m so glad I did, because it was fantastic!! The sauce was delicious too and had so much garlic, which I loved. For dessert, we shared a piece of cheesecake, which was one of the lightest and creamiest that we’ve had at a restaurant. We were told that the chef’s wife makes it who actually used to own her own cheesecake business in Greenwich! I’ll definitely be keeping this spot in mind over the summer because it’s within walking distance from the beach and boardwalk. Parking is a bit tough because the lot is small, but luckily we were able to find parking down the street.”

“Stop here looking for clam chowder well they have Rhode Island (Lil bland)which is more of a chicken noodle type minus chicken add clams. Now, on the other hand, the lobster roll sandwich was Devine!!! The lobster bisque soup was also very well done. The downside is the fries and O-rings weren’t very good. That being said beer was cold and there was a nice selection of food along with a good, attentive waitress. Definitely worth a stop.”

“The restaurant is large and spacious. There are nice decorative touches throughout including gorgeous chandeliers, custom ceiling tiles and ornate wooden room dividers. The space is very clean inside and out. There is plenty of parking in a private lot right of the Post Rd. The location is pretty close to the highway as well for easy access.”

“Best Korean food. I tried two independent times, and both of them were great. The food is great. They also provide fresh banchan (although the quality can be better, like fish cakes.. etc.) and orange at the end of the meal. I also appreciate that they gave free rolls & seaweed salad whenever I went there. Overall, I love this place. The only thing that I don't like is they are not close to New Haven :)”

“Entrees: Salad with blackened chicken,, quesadillas, steak tacos and chicken burritos. Everything was wonderfully presented and extremely tasty. The artwork is stunning, beautiful and quite evocative - without being overwhelming. We were there for lunch and Karen was EXTREMELY accommodating. She was delightful! I am from Colorado and have eaten a lot of Mexican food in my life. I love the cuisine and the culture. I really enjoyed it at La Catrina: the atmosphere, the food and the warmness of the staff. (The mild, red salsa was particularly yummy :-)”
