“I almost went to a different ice cream shop on the street but this one grabbed my eye. Let me start with saying that the shop is filled with fun nic nacks, lots of yummy treats to choose from and really good looking beverages. My friend and I just tried the ice cream. There were not a lot of choices but from what I understand, they change their flavors often which makes it so much more fun an exciting. I love trying new things. The choices they did have though were all tempting. The ice cream was creamy and the portions were amazing. I was extremely satisfied with my visit. I would like to come back soon and try some of their unique beverages or buy some desserts. I gave it 4 stars because I have not tried anything other than ice cream. If it was just an ice cream shop, 5 stars all the way.”

If you are in the mystic area or venture out for amazing food like I do...I highly suggest Rise as your breakfast destination. “Food is better looking then tasting, it is quite obvious that quality is lost in exchange for extra profits. Dishes have big fillers that leave you wondering where the entree you ordered actually is while you dig through a pile of potatoes dominating your dish. From the several dishes we ordered;Ruben, Sheppard's pie, bourbon beef tips and muscles, I can only recommend the muscles. Staff and atmosphere is the highlight of this place.”

“I just recently moved to the area and this pizza place is right next to my neighborhood. I decided to try it out and when I walked in the owner was talking to a gentleman, (that you could tell was a regular) and he told the gentleman that his order was on him because from the sounds of it his mother was either in poor health or had passed. ???? AMAZING! Customer service!! He also threw in some of there homemade rice pudding (which I had to try myself). Delicious!!”

This location gets busy during lunch time, but the staff is good at making sure the orders are right, most times.
