“Very friendly establishment with a variety on a small menu that should suit most. I had a bowl of their clam chowder to start with and I was told that it is made to order and it shows. Unlike most places, the clams were plentiful and it had a nicely balanced flavor and I would say the best in Westerly. I followed that with their smash burger with a side of greens and greens were over oiled. I liked the smash burger but I found that it was inconsistent with each bite; yet, considering this is a newly opened restaurant it is to be expected to have a few snags but I can see them flourishing considering where it's situated. The decor needs some work and considering it's on the river I would rethink the curtains. Overall, I would definitely go back and can't wait to explore more of the eclectic menu.”

“Had a great time there last week when we were finally able to get there and check out their lunch! I heard their breakfast is fabulous, and we happen to be driving by at lunchtime. We both enjoyed a cup of soup with a half Cuban sandwich -which was absolutely fabulous!!! Our server, a wonderful young lady, was just PERFECT! The only thing missing was a dessert after lunch!”

“Excellent, excellent bagels. Jalapeño Havarti is sublime. Warm and chewy with great flavor. Wish there was more cream cheese but that’s a personal preference. Beyond that this is probably the best bagel I’ve ever had. Place is super cute too! Can’t wait to go back and try one of the breakfast sandwiches and every other bagel flavor they have.”

I was hoping this bar was part of the lobby bar, but it is separated and not as warm and friendly because the cool crowd is in the lobby. “Lobster Roll ( Connecticut) with fries and Clam strips with fries, absolutely wonderful. Flavored perfectly. There is no need to add anything ( salt/pepper). Fries were seasoned with a secret seasoning that was out of this world. The lobster roll had the perfect amount of claw meat. The clam strops were tender and cooked perfectly. The employee that took our order was very nice and friendly. 100 percent recommended.”

“Absolutely love Wahlburgers. I've been to Myrtle Beach, Atlantic City and now Foxwoods! My only complaint was that our server couldn't wait for us to leave. “I don't think I've ever left a public review for a diner/restaurant, but I need to share a few thoughts about this little gem. My love and I had spent the prior day at Mohegan Sun, and decided to spend the afternoon in Mystic before taking the ferry back to Long Island. We had been in the mood for a real breakfast - comfort diner food - after several nice meals at the casino. We literally drove past The Salty Heifer, I asked if she'd noticed the sign, she said she was about to say the same, so we pulled in about 1:20, and saw they were closing at 2. Evidently we had just missed the ribbon cutting ceremony, but the universe made sure we were there in time to eat. We asked if we still had time to eat, they led us to the tables, and not once was there a hint of being rushed. (Trust me. Not all NYers like to rush. This was a welcome pace.) We couldn't decide on eggs or pancakes, so we split our orders, (which we often do, and highly recommend). We had to try the Salty Heifer Breakfast - could've stopped there. But couldn't. Also got a veggie omelet. Sara was the ultimate waitress, and offered us fresh fruit cup instead of a second potatoes, since one came with the SH Breakfast. All eggs were perfectly done - the omelet and the eggs over medium. The fruit, ( w/ salmon colored watermelon!), sausages and perfectly thin and crisp bacon were pure comfort. And the pancakes... and coffee... yeah, you get the idea. Everything was farm-to-table, and some of the freshest ingredients we'd tasted. When she realized we enjoyed the food and its sources, Sara gave us the history of everything on our plates, all without ever interrupting our meal. It all just felt like a home away from home. Yeah I'm gushing a bit, but we're from NY - we have our fair share of diners. But The Salty Heifer is a place we would frequent regularly. So, while we are telling all our friends, and making this a stop on their trips to casinos or Mystic, we need all of you who live close enough, to make sure this place thrives so it's there every time we return. Oh, I said we were on our way to Mystic I'd always wanted a slice of Mystic Pizza, from the movie. But Sara told us about the ice cream, so we had that in the car and bought blueberry pound cake for the ferry. Needless to say, we were too full from our brunch for any slice - and would do it all again.”

“First time tonight we tried Tuskers. This beautiful restaurant is beyond amazing. The food is top notch, the way they prepare and present your plate is top notch! The food flavoring is perfection! The portions are kind but not heavy. You want to dig in but also take your time to enjoy every bite. The staff are very professional and so kind. The atmosphere is cozy, the temperature was perfect inside for a chilly evening and it was peaceful, even though it was a full house. The world did not seem to exist once ypu step inside. The lighting is exquisite and a band was playing but the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. We enjoyed our time and will return again and again. I think they should ( just my opinion) put lounge chairs where the high tops are). But if you're just going for a cocktail then they're good. But the table tops are small and that is probably because the place isn't large but you have enough room still. I was glad we were able to sit in the lounge chairs though. Still 5 stars! “Definitely the trendiest bar at the casino. The atmosphere and decor is what really makes this place special. Great spot for drinks and they offer some small plates for dinner. This place is quite pricey but the perfect place to go if you’re looking for an elevated cocktail experience. It used to be a club but is more of a relaxed lounge now. They have high end table games in the back if you want to try your luck off of the main gaming floor.”

We ordered curbside delivery, and their time estimate for when it would be ready was accurate to the minute. Someone brought the pizza right out to our car which was so nice. We live right around the corner so it’s great to know there’s a local place that does great pizza (other than RR) in the neighborhood! Their large veggie pizza was loaded with toppings and super delicious. All the veggies tasted fresh.
