The Social Bar + Kitchen

This place is fantastic. Best burgers around and their fried pickles are to die for. The service is outstanding and the beer selection is top notch. The Social is our favorite date night spot, and the place we take anyone visiting from out of town and everyone loves it!

Service was spectacular, beer choices awesome but the food was par at best. The only thing we really enjoyed were the fries. The environment is fantastic though so I'd highly recommend it for maybe a happy hour or a quick stop in for a beer.

My first time there, certainly won't be my last! I had one of the most enjoyable evenings in CT since I've been here. I'm telling everyone about The Social Bar. Who would of thought that this wonderful place was in my own backyard. Everyone there from the owner, chef, wait staff was so very nice, the food, fantastic. But, the live music blew my mind. Musicians from all over New England an D beyond, come together one Wednesday every month to play, Swing Music, original compositions, contemporary jazz. I was in Heaven. If it wasn't for my broken ankle, I would have been on that dance floor! Made reservations for next month can't wait!!

Love this atmosphere! Mature, social environment to be as the name says it all. Food menu is simple and not overwhelming and it changes up every 2 weeks. Employees are all friendly and upbeat. Nice size space to eat, hang out and easily get around the tables. Nice size bar with variety for tap beers if you like. Cant wait to see what its like in the summertime! Must try!

Had a great time. We had a larger party (~9-10). We were seated immediately, enjoyed our food and drinks, listened to a bit of music, and left happy. This is a great place to stop if you're ever in the area. Thanks guys!
