“This was something that I was always looking for on campus. They offer Japanese food, including sushi, sashimi and build your own bowls. I really liked the quality of their food; I order two rolls, both were so freshly made and they prepared it pretty quick. I really liked food and definitely I'm gonna go back there. I tried their shrimp tempora and spicy salmonand it was yummy.”

“Better calzones than DP Dough, boneless wings just as good as wings over (less flavors though). Pizza is $1 per slice and HUGE slices. I highly recommend going here when you’ve been studying too long and it’s dark and your head hurts, and I even more highly recommend going here when it’s dark and your head will hurt the next day.”

“The coffee is great but service can be bad depending on what chain you visit. Some places have people working there that have an issue with following directions on how you want the coffee made. It would be nice if the managers at the chains would be more engaged with Google maps so they can get a feel of how their location is doing.”

“Who'd have thought this little unassuming pizza joint in a gas station would have the best tasting pizza around! My husband and I are blown away by the taste, texture, and in short everything. “Had such a relaxing dining experience when I visited. The hosts really make you feel comfortable and at home, like you are a part of their family. As a UConn student I can see myself coming here very often to hang out with my friends and enjoy delicious food cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients. The biscuits are heavenly! The place is a conveniently short distance from the main campus. If you ever crave tasty Southern comfort food or just a word of encouragement to brighten a stressful day, these are the people and eatery that will be sure to take care of you.”

“My wife, daughter, and I decided to try something new for a not-so-fancy dinner near the UCONN campus Saturday afternoon, and a quick google search turned up this pub. It had a pretty good average review, so we gave it a try. It was an OK experience, a little awkward at first, but the bar tender was friendly, and the crowd wasn't too noisy. The food was actually pretty good, we didn't get involved in the beer selection. The music they were playing was kind of fun too, and not too loud. So, to be clear, this is a PUB, not a family restaurant. If you're expecting a pub, it's not bad. If you're expecting a family restaurant, I would suggest this is not the ideal venue. I gave only three stars because it's a bit of a dive, and not what we were hoping for. Hoping only to be helpful to the next family out on an adventure.”
