    Good food, fun server, the best kind of hole-in-the-wall eatery. Home fries were extra crispy, just as I like them. Waffles were excellent. Our waitress even custom made a hot sauce for my friend. Only suggestion, I would pay extra for regional real maple syrup!

    If I would give 12 stars I could. A friend came in from out of town. We went to Craig's and the food was SOOO good! The best collards, and the candied yams were like happiness on a plate!! We both got fried shrimp, which was crunchy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside and everything was perfectly seasoned. The service was great as well. I would recommend Craig's to anyone who loves great soul food. I lived in SC for 20 years and have been craving really good soul food (without having to make it myself) since I came back up north. I can't express how happy I am to have found Craig's Kitchen. I can't wait to try more of what this gem of a restaurant has to offer.

    Today on a sunny warm spring day.
    I had a great lunch at Craig's kitchen in
    Vernon, Ct.

    Nice order of,
    Jerk chicken,
    Collard greens done just rite,
    And a piece of corn bread.
    Very reasonable price.
    Great service from the friendly staff
    Who are all hands on.
    As the place is exceptionally clean and neat.
    Nice atmosphere to enjoy your meal,
    and do a little blogging.

    Craig's Kitchen has a nice menu selection
    ths easy to read and order up and turn time was very good for service during the lunch hours.
    Craig's Kitchen is a great place, great food, great staff, great service.
    Worth many return visits.

    Just picked up my lunch and meet Craig and his team. Had the best Best catfish, collard greens and candied yams that I have ever had outside my mother’s house. I definitely recommend everyone go there. 10 Stars for sure.

    A hidden gem.
    Southern comfort food at it's best.
    Collard greens, red beans and rice, candied yams, Mac n cheese..... All were awesome.
    I was a little leery about trying the salmon.... but I'm glad I ordered it. The best salmon I've ever had.
    Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it.
