(January 30, 2019, 7:41 am)Always had a superb meal here. Very nice ‘home cooked’ Japanese meals are served here by the excellent chef. My Japanese (as well as non-Japanese) friends love coming here. Selection is great and menu varies often perhaps by season, but we always enjoy all the small dishes to share. Sake options are great too!

(September 3, 2018, 6:29 pm)One of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was so fresh and expertly executed. We had a mackerel dish (aji) which completely blew me away. The chef prepares the meat of the fish to eat raw, and then lightly fries what's left over, the head and tail. Absolutely delicious, I fully intend to come back next time I'm in DC.
