I go for the cigar area upstairs. Food is great. Service is great. Drinks are great. Just not a big selection of cigars. Will make this a weekly spot.
Perfect spot to eat, smoke cigars and meet new people. You can have it all at DSF!! My new favorite spot! I have been twice since they opened and the food was tasty. I ordered the Crab fries, Sweet Potato Hush Puppies and Oxtail. Friendly staff and the owners are accessible to meet your needs as well.
The atmosphere is nice. They have a cigar bar on the second floor. I came here on a Saturday to try the jerk wings but they are serving brunch related items until 5pm.
I heard that the owners used to own a particular location on Richmond hwy in Alexandria. If so, I hope they can get their act together.
So i went to District Soul food located on 8th SE in Barracks Row: i walked in and saw beautiful , engaging black people. The hostess was really nice and so was the bartender . The atmosphere and vibe on point. I spoke to one of the owners who was very nice and invited to me to look around while waiting for my food. The ART!???? . That certainly added to the ambience and they have a nice little cigar room on the second floor where they have entertainment . I was told by the hostess that the menu is growing but I’m very pleased with what i ordered.... jerk chicken wings,Mac n cheese and collard greens. ♥️♥️
