Tortuga Caribbean Bar & Grille

Randomly came here on Sunday afternoon and it was a GREAT choice. The food is good, decor is fun and service is awesome. Not to mention the frozen drinks don’t skimp on the alcohol. I can’t wait to come back!!

I love there take on the beef Nachos I had nachos on the side they had the cilantro with the chopped onions and tomatoes on the other side of head the sour cream and one more Saga had the guacamole dip actually that was in the middle the nachos had a cream sauce to it but mixed in the nachos was plantain chips real plantain that they fry and I asked for the beef so it wasn't shredded beef it was beat that was stood down and they took chunks of it and put it on the nachos it was so good happy hours $10 my green drink was called the margarita lime that was good to I'm not a drinker but that was a good drink has a rooftop a bar grill setting lots of room to hang out you can also sit on the street side table setting customer service is great I recommend this place and time to Eastern Market at least try

Fantastic food, Great flavors! Nice decor, helpful and friendly staff. Had the Tortuga Jerk Chicken, it was wonderful; nicely plated and good portion size.

Service was good. Fried Snapper and Mofongo were authentic. Definitely coming back. Rooftop is nice. Beautiful night for our dinner. Covered bar on the patio

Cool environment with normal drinks. Service is slow with food coming out even more slow. Ordered several items and after waiting 15 minutes was told they didn’t have it. Had to order several items and follow up at least three times before actually getting what I ordered. The food was okay at best but very chewy.
