Beautiful spot with views and big portions. I wish they had more breakfast/ brunch options, but the ricotta blueberry pancakes were delightful.
A beautiful restaurant along the SE waterfront. 4out of 5 stars for 2 reasons 1) Ceaser salad was over dressed and 2) the atmosphere is loud even though it was a Wed night and not overly crowded, full with only a few tables open. Duck entree was absolutely delicious and the pasta is made fresh with a richness that should be enjoyed in smaller portions.
Everything we had was so delicious! I went for brunch during Restaurant Week, but now I have to go back and try out their regular menu. The drinks were great, too.
Service was excellent, the appetizer was great, but I wasn't thrilled by their seafood soup. The texture of some of the items implied that they were frozen for a long time. (It had a mealy texture.) I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again, however.
Very enjoyable, lively, inviting Italian restaurant right on the river walk in Navy yard. The tables are spread all throughout the floor, to create a dynamic and fluid space. The service was attentive and the food came out at a good rate. We went during restaurant week, so we tasted from all 3 menus (starter, entre, dessert). Each dish was prepared very well, and tasted excellent. The portions were not too large, but were definitely filling. The energy settled down a bit towards closing, but was still a fun atmosphere. Overall recommend checking out for a fun, pretty authentic Italian experience.
