Keren Restaurant & Coffee Shop

First time having Ethiopian food and I'm so happy that I chose this place. It was so incredible and tasty and I cannot wait to go back. Every single bite was filled with such flavor that it was just a never ending supply of surprised. My favorite was the cabbage (which I did not expect to be so flavorful), the red lentils and the potatoes but everything was delicious!!

This place has the best coffee ever and there are a wide variety of choices. I love visiting this place alone for reading a book with a coffee or with my friends to just have a good time. Ultimate taste and neat and clean proper place with friendly staff.

Fantastic food! Very small shop though so show up early to get a place. They do not take reservations but at so good the. Consistently have a line out front waiting to get in.

Also they serve breakfast all day long. I need to return to take advantage of that.

Their injira is spectacular! Prices are great, but the place is small, so come early or be prepared to wait. The wait is worth it though. Everything is delicious. Don't miss out on their honey wine either.

Food: I got the vegetable sampler with meat. Beef was a little tough for stewed meat. I discovered I am not really into the flavors of Ethiopian cuisine, however, I can still tell a place is special when I see it. Great value for what you get. Great coffee!

Atmosphere: Unassuming mom and pop cafe. Great spot for a date to try out new food or meet up with a friend.

Service: Staff here is kind and fast.
