It's already crowded and the wait is too long so I should give this place one star and keep the newcomers out but I love what they're doing and want them to make a couple mil so...tbh amazing food and baked goods (clmexican/central American-style, NOT French or American) at great prices.
THE GREATEST PLACE EVER. I AM FROM MEXICO CITY. AND I AM USED TO TRYING GREAT FOOD AND SO DO MY TASTE BUDS. THEIR TAMALEA ON SATURDAY BE BOMB TO. CHECK THEM OUT ON SATURDAYS. BUT OVERLL ALL, EVERYTHIN ON THE MENU IS VERY VERY DELICIOUS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and for those complaining about long wait, you can place your order 20 mins prior to your arrival and i promose you there wont be a long time of waiting. Never had an issue with them. I LOVE THIS PLACE.????????????????????
The portion size is big and good for sharing. The prices are not bad either. The sweet bread/pastry taste delicious and make for a good breakfast.
Great little spot for trying out authentic Mexican food. The give nice portion of food, which gives you more bang for your buck. I enjoy their hot chocolate because it is made with la abuelita chocolate tablet from Mexico. They sell cheap cookies and pastries and the workers are nice and helpful.
Worth the wait. These tacos are the best thing I've had in D.C. Closest thing to the way I ate in Los Angels. They make their tortillas from scratch which adds that extra twist of "God Damn these are good tacos". They also have real papaya and watermelon juices. This is a great place to have a memorable time with close friends.
