Great food..we loved it #eatpowpow... I will definitely be back soon!
Absolutely delicious. The regular size roll is a meal of it's own...and you won't regret it. The bowls are also great and have appeased the spicy eaters and no spicy eaters equally. They usually have some fun/funky special as well. This is my go-to when people visit from out of town or I'm having a rough week....or I just want something tasty.
Pow Pow never disappoints. I 1st tried them via delivery. SCORE! I was happy to see that their physical location was right on H St. SCORE ! The menu consists of meat free, asian fusion dishes. Everything was prepped & prepared right in front of you in a.m open kitchen style. The staff is always friendly & patient while you decide & they have suggestions and recommendations waiting if you need it. They are willing to do modifications to menu items to accommodate their patron's tastes or dietary needs.
It's always clean and bright inside. And usually not a long wait. Quick, clean, friendly... Pow Pow on H St.
Pow Pow on H Street in Washington DC is a vegan fusion restaurant that satisfies Kosher disciplines. It provides a satisfactory menu choice of imaginative and extremely tasty dishes, some hot and spicy. Other dishes like fries come with surprisingly embellished sauces. Yet others, like the mozzarella balls, are just an outright pleasant gastro surprise. Street parking, don't be put off by zip code. Good find.
Delicious! As a vegan I really appreciated what this place had going on. We were staying in Georgetown but it was definitely worth the trek out to this side of town. I loved everything except I would probably recommend skipping the cheese balls. The inside had more of a texture of mashed potatoes (but still taste pretty cheese like).
