The food is mediocre and somewhat overpriced. The service is not that great either. Considering the number of Ethiopian restaurants available in the city, I'd skip this one for a better place next time
Visited for the first time with my wife and another couple and had a great time. As a group we liked the cubed lamb, the bread was light and delicious. The other entrees we shared were also very tasty. Service was great, food portions hearty and well seasoned and spiced.
For those unfamiliar you use the bread to pickup and eat the food, similar to some Indian and Moroccan meals. Some dishes are quite spicy, washing your hands afterwards is recommended as the oils may irratate sensitive skin.
Absolutely Excellent Food and Service! The Shiro will always have me coming back--I get cravings for it constantly. Definitely try this place if you haven't yet!
Yooo the food here is mouth watering ???? I had the pleasure of having the fried fish with tomatoes and and added the spicy lentils... the best fish I had in the USA all year... I also enjoyed the authentic beer for Ethiopia... definitely going back for more... the bread is awesome as well as the ambiance
The food was all so delicious, a delightful flavor profile. It was our first time, and the staff was very helpful as we made our meal choices. Highly recommend!
