If there were 10 stars...Cane would deserve it...Peter ...the chef... is a food God....I had the snapper and it almost brought tears to my eyes it was so good... from the drinks to the music... the staff (Tim) we luv ya... the ambience.. need I mention the food... that place is amazing.....
Arrive early.. might hav to wait as the restaurant is small and seating is limited...
Trust... it is worth the wait....

The food at canes is amazing, it's like someones grandmothers cooking in the kitchen, hits the taste buds right were they need to be touched. The atmospheres welcoming and a great island style, the hostes and staff make you feel right at home, Tasha was the bartender that made some of the beat drinks to make you get in a vibe you won't forget. Canes has a special place on my food heart. Thanks.

The food is really good but my favorite was the ox tail. It's hard to do but when it's done right it's a treat. What a great addition to H St. I will be back for more!

Authentic and well executed. Awesome staff. Love the concept. Drinks are great and wine list is short but very thoughtful. This place is worth the trip again and again.
