Love Doi Moi, and now I love Birds Eye Eatery. Always craving delicious breakfast sandwiches and the one I had here was awesome.
Love the concept, the execution is nearly perfect. A little confusing to where to sit or where to order but its worth it. The Bahn Mi sandwich is excellent, the well seasoned sausage is great but the star of the sandwich is the amazingly toasted french bread. House brewed coffee is okay but it gets the job done. Great place overall for breakfast and starting your day.
I am so thankful that Ted's Bulletin was overcrowded! It forced my wife and me to go looking for some place new. We found Birds Eye and immediately were drawn to it when my wife discovered they served an Indonesian cake that her grandma used to serve. Everything that we got(sausage and egg sandwich, steamed banana and sticky rice, Chia seed pudding, and coffee cake) was delicious. It's one of those places that you regret how long it's taken you to discover.
Wonderful spot for Breakfast and Lunch. If you’re looking for southeast Asian food this is the perfect place to stop. The green papaya salad (pictured) is perfect either by itself or shared with someone. It has a great kick to it but isn’t over powering. I highly recommend the Thai Style Steak Sandwich. The meat is very tender and flavorful. The atmosphere is modern and polished but a great spot to grab a casual bite to eat or cup of coffee. Overall highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lunch spot!
