Delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere

I would recommend listening to your server ~ all his recommendations were amazing. The honey feta was soo good and the lamb meatballs I loved the most. I would come back over and over if I lived here.

From the creators of D.C. best cupcake (Baked & Wired) and breakfast biscuit (A Baked Joint) comes a family dinner restaurant in Mount Vernon Triangle. It's a family-friendly restaurant with stunning design that appeals to all crowds. However, it's takeout only during the pandemic, but you get a glimpse when you go inside to safely pick up your food.

Where La Betty shines is with the sides. We ordered two sides that were outstanding- the caramelized cauliflower mash and the broccoli.

The main dishes weren't bad either. My chicken schnitzel sammie was pretty big with great flavor. My wife's Betty Burger was good, but nothing to write home about.

They have a generous list of beer, hard cider, wine and cocktails. For $6, you get a classy bottle of a ready-to-drink cocktail that is surprisingly mixed perfectly. The "Fomo" is a refreshing drink with a little kick.

Overall, La Betty was a good experience.

Really liked the new menu. The jerk chicken dish is so so good! Could eat the side sauce all day long. Definitely recommend.

Love the ambience of this place. Super cool layout along with funky light fixtures. You keep getting topped up with beers untill you cover your glass with a coaster. Our server was great. Wish the beer glasses were a little bigger, found my self finishing the little glasses fast. Got the schnitzel which was delicious. The devil eggs were a great starter.

This is a very nice place - a hidden gem in Mt. Vernon Triangle! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is flavorful and well-priced. Be sure to get the bread basket from neighboring a Baked Joint, as it is a great selection of homemade breads. La Betty is a wonderful place to stop in for a bite to eat!
