I went into Peruvian Brothers at La Cosecha because I kept hearing about their Peruvian chicken. It did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the sides were freshly made and the Pisco sour slushy was delicious. Highly recommended!
Beef empanadas are hearty and delicious. Quinoa salad with avocado was savory and refreshing. Plaintains were sweet, ripe and not fried too hard. 1/2 Chicken was very filling and seasoned the Peruvian way. Green dipping sauce was my favorite, the others were not my taste. The balsamic vinaigrette had an interesting flavor, almost like black licorice, but still pretty good. I do recommend trying at least once, but call to check for hours because Google hours are not up to date.
Honestly, one of the best pork sandwiches in DC. Easily already craving another one. The entire time my friend and I were eating this thing we couldn’t stop exclaiming how good it was. Totally coming back for another one!
Their meals are reasonably priced and at the right portion size that you can eat them for 2 days. Their plantains are so good I frequently get it from them. Customer service and their timely delivery is on point. This is a good business I’ll continue to support.
